This Friday, June 18th kicks off the first part of the Pend Oreille Arts Council annual summer Art Walk in downtown Sandpoint!   Please come join me Friday from 5:30 – 8:30 pm at Fairytales on 105 Main St where my work will be displayed.   There will be many amazing artists displaying their gorgeous artwork all around downtown Sandpoint!  Don’t miss it!!!

A couple weeks ago I got to meet Baby “B”.   Now Baby “B” just isn’t ANY baby!  He’s a miracle baby!  And I was lucky enough to capture this sweet time for his mama and daddy.    He was born 3 months early and weighed in at a mere 1 lb 10 oz!!!   I can not even imagine!!!  I only know about 9+ lb babies!  Just the thought of a 1 lb baby scares me!   It was a scary time for him and his mama….but they both came through great and now are enjoying life to the fullest!   His mama drove him all the way up from Spokane for photos and when I finally got to meet Baby “B” he was 8lbs at 4 months old and thriving!!!  And I think he’s  just adorable!!!!   So without further delay……meet Baby “B”!!!

Ok he’s too cute!….so who else wants to give him a big ole kiss???  I think he likes me!

OK….does anyone else wish this weather would make up it’s mind???  I had to cancel a session yesterday because of the never ending rain…then no joking….5 minutes after I canceled the sun came out!!!  I was so MAD!  But away it went 5 short minutes later….so I didn’t have to be mad after all!  Then this morning out it came again!!!  So I thought perfect!  I will finish planting my garden….but then dark gray rain clouds followed soon after….and now as I type this….more sun.  OK mother nature, enough games already!!!  We are all happy for the rain since we didn’t get much snow this winter…but really?  Just ONE day of sun this week would be great!!!  Preferably tomorrow…I have a fun toddler session to go to!!!!  Thanks!

This rain is driving me bonkers!   It’s so icky and cold.  Yuck.   But on the bright side…..I am getting a ton of work done today!!!   I got my product shelves organized and ready for my new packaging!  I finally got through piles and piles of mail, Owen’s school papers, folders, and who knows what else?  All I know for sure is that I can now see my desk….AND the office floor!  It’s been a while!   I think I am going to like summer vacation!!!  Staying home during the week and actually getting something done?  Oh YES!  That will be great!  However, I know I shouldn’t get too excited…the garden is going to be in full swing soon!!!  AND photo sessions will be keeping me busy this month too!   As of right now….June is completely booked and I will only be taking newborn sessions for June. I have 2 openings left for July and of course I always take newborns! If you are having a baby soon or are planning a summer session please contact me asap to secure your date!  Thanks so much!!!
