This sweet little guy just had his first birthday and what better way to celebrate than to have pictures!!! Not just any pictures….but pictures with CAKE! YAY! My first smash the cake session and it couldn’t of been more fun!!! We started out at Dover Bay to get some “clean” pictures of Mr “R”. We were hoping for some beach photos….but with full sun overhead in the middle of the day, and a beach full of sand (not the best idea with a little one – trust me I know after an ER trip with Bella after getting sand in her eyes! NOT FUN.), we decided to pass on the beach and do some other fun things! Like go on a wagon ride….play with mommy….and eat lots of twigs and grass – but no pictures of that….just a bunch of no, no’s….and ick’s! 
This little guy is so fun….I loved our 6 mo session and didn’t think it could get any better than that…..and then it did……his 12 mo session!

My first smash the cake….I knew it was going to be fun….but had no idea it was going to be this much fun!!! I think I had as much cake and frosting on me as he did!!! My camera buttons were red by the end of it….don’t ask me how I got frosting on me….but I did. Oh well…..so worth it!
