No babies or munchkins today….just a beautiful flower that reminds me of my beautiful friend Amber………as we celebrate her and Darby’s life today with family and friends.

Remember this beautiful mama’s maternity session? Well…..they finally had their little bean!  Introducing baby “R”….he is such a sweetheart….and so full of personality!   You have been getting little peeks of him here and there on facebook….but today you will be getting an overload of eye candy!   We actually had 2 sessions…one for baby “R” and one for family photos so there will be more to come….but for now……Mr “R’s” sneak peek!  Enjoy!

His mama and daddy had this amazing bowl sitting on their table….I spotted it right off at the maternity session and was literally drooling!…..of course we HAD to get a picture of “R” in it!  And as I suspected….it was perfect!  This photo is one of my all time favorites!

This was taken at the end of “R’s” session……by the look on his face I think he’s had enough picture taking for the day!  His little raised eyebrow gives me the giggles every time!  More of baby “R” coming soon!

Morning internet world.   I don’t have much for today…although I had an AMAZING double senior session yesterday (see here for a little peek), I am feeling out of sorts today.    Last weekend ended in tragedy and so did this one….last week, myself and many others were forced to say an unwanted goodbye to dear friends….this week my heart hurts for a young mother that had to say an unwanted goodbye to her sweet darling baby.   I didn’t know them, but as a mother it hit home and put a magnifying glass on one of my (and many others) worst fears…..being submerged in water in a vehicle with my kids.  Please read this…it could save a life.   The car went off the road into the Pack River…..the driver, mother of the baby was injured severely….God decided that the baby’s job on earth was complete and must go Home……and another passenger…a 5 year old boy was on his way Home, when plans changed and he was brought back to life by a very brave and wonderful soul.   (Monte & Mom – there was a reason you two were chosen to came across this accident…a purpose…please don’t forget that)   My heart goes out to the families and friends of all those involved.

So much pain lately….too much.  I think I have had enough…..and I know many others feel the same.  I am hoping this is the last of it because I am feeling anxious…I think about what has happened the last 2 weeks and sometimes I don’t want Ryan going anywhere…..sometimes I don’t want to go anywhere…….sometimes I get scared thinking about driving the kids to town and hoping we make it there and back safe, because I just can not bear the thought of anything else bad happening.    I think as a whole…..the world needs to slow down….we need to stop being in a hurry – stop and smell the roses….enjoy life…enjoy our family and friends….forget emails, texting, and facebooking 24/7…..forget work at 7:00 at night that can be done the next day…..open our eyes and SEE what is important…enjoy it….before it’s gone and we don’t even have a chance to even look.

I woke up this morning to a soaking wet bed due to a 3 year that drank too much water before bed time…..and honestly after this weekend….I have to say that I couldn’t think of a better way to wake up.  I am thankful, blessed, and happy…….but also full of sorrow, pain, and sadness……I pray that the families and friends are given the strength to over come the pain of these events and  find peace once again.  PLEASE everyone, have a safe and happy week!
